I'm doing great Alex my oldest turned 6 in November. I met my fiance last year and now we have a son together, Aiden Tyler Morin-Anderson. He was born on Jan 8th. Michelle, my fiance, also has a son that will be turning 6 this June. That's right, I now have 3 boys. Other than getting engaged and having a lot bigger family not much has changed. I'm working for VZW in the tech support. I'm living in Mesa and trying to get through these trying economic times. Well to keep everyone up to date I was married October 2002 and divorced August 2005. I'm now engaged and have 3 boys as explained above. I don't get back to good ol SJ as much as I would like. I'm excited to hear about where everyone is and see how they are doing.

Deana we love and miss you!
July 6, 1981- September 3, 2007
(Deana and her adorable son Parker)

Deana did many wonderful things after High School. She attended Eastern AZ College where she studied music and participated and excelled in orchestra and choir. In 2002 she had her beautiful son, Parker Scott Fallers, whom she has said, is her greatest accomplishment. She lived in Thatcher for several years before also living in such places as Utah and the valley. Some of her favorite things to do were to be with her sisters, her family, her son and friends. She loved tennis, art, modeling and photography, as well as many, many other things. She will be remembered for her great smile(and beauty!),her many talents, enthusiasm about life and her devotion to her friends and family, especially her son Parker. Sadly, Deana passed from this life on September 3, 2007. If you have any memories you would like to share on here for her family and mother, please leave a comment!

Aunt DeAnna and Parker.

Our life revolves around these two!
4. Do you have a college degree? What school(s) did you attend? I received my Associate of Arts in Theatre from Eastern AZ College in 2002 and my Bachelors of Arts in English from NAU in 2005.
5. What do you do for a living? Currently I am a stay-at-home mom but want to use my degrees or pursue a paralegal job when they are both in school. I like to do photography on the side, mainly as a hobby.
6. How many places have you lived since graduation? Only 2. Thatcher, AZ (99-02) and Flagstaff, AZ (02- current) I hope to add some more places to that list someday...
7. Briefly summarize any other major events that have happened in your life since graduation.
The condensed version: Had fun at EAC for a few years, fell in love, got married, moved to NAU, had kids, still in Flag enjoying life being a mom, wife and busy with family life!
8. What is your favorite memory of high school? Trips with speech/debate and mock-trial events. So many fun things happened. I also enjoyed the football games and dances.
9. What is your favorite song(s) from high school? So many. Oasis, U2,Bush, No Doubt, Jewel and Sarah McLachlan bring back a lot of memories from that time. Any 90's alternative hit really. I really enjoyed the music of that decade.
10. Who is the teacher you remember most from high school? Why?
Andrea Borg. The team spent so much time with her over the years she coached and she is a wonderful lady who sacrificed so much for our team. I also remember Dan Korzec for his fun class and his coaching time for mock-trial.
11. Have you been able to keep in contact with any former classmates? Who? Email has been a nice thing to have since I have not been able to see many people since HS. We all did our different things of course. I was roommates in college with Deana Barnes in 2000 though, and that was a really fun time. I also got to throw her baby shower in 2002. I really miss Deana, she was and always will be one of my favorite people. All of my other good friends in HS, thank you for all the good times!!:)

13. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? In 5 years I hope to have my masters degree and possibly working in a job I enjoy (paralegal or something in the law field). In 10 years I would like to be living somewhere new. My husband might get into anesthesiology in the future and we would like to be in a nice city with the program he needs and a good hospital for him to work in. Good schools for our kids, etc. Personally, I do not like to think about my son being in HS though!:)
14. What is one accomplishment since high school that you are proud of? My family and my education!
15. What is one piece of advice you would give a future graduate of SJHS? Not to worry so much about what people think of you, be yourself, embrace what you love to do. Oh yeah, and even though SJ is a great place, try to see something else after HS at least for a little while, it is a big world out there.....
16. Did you have a favorite subject in HS? Did it influence your future job choice? I always loved English and the dramatic arts so yes, it totally influenced the majors I pursued. Mock-trial completely won me over and I hope to someday pursue something in the field someday.
17. Do you make it back to St.Johns very often? My parents are still there so I try to go back a couple of times a year to see them.
18. Do you have plans to attend the reunion? It turns out that is a busy weekend for us so I will be missing out. I do want to see the pictures though!
19. Anything else you would like to share? I think that pretty much sums it up above !:)

I think my freshman year was my most favorite. Track meets and going to state, I didn't make state, but others did. I believe Coach Cox, refered to us {those who didn't make state} as the "peanut gallery" All of my memories are with Melissa, we had a lot of fun we still do.

I loved being on the Electric car team, too. And in Autos, I wasn't really ever ALLOWED to do any of the "real" work, because I was a girl, but I kept things clean and organized and it was just a fun place to be, Mr. Bell was my favorite teacher he always made sure we had good food to eat on the trips too, Even though red lobster was not my idea of good.

I don't think I would change anything, I loved Highschool, well maybe I would change the way I dressed I was such a slob!

13. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?

5 years: I'll be 33 David will be 34 we'll pretty much be enjoying life the same way we do now, just with a few more kids. We'll still be living in Gold Canyon, maybe we will have built another house by then.
10 Years: We'll be parents of a teen-ager! If it was up to us, our lives would be the same, We're already living life the way we love it.

14. What is one accomplishment since high school that you are proud of?

Definatly being married and sealed to my husband, in a LDS Temple. It was a goal of mine as a young girl to be worthy to do so. And since becoming a mother, with each child I have felt the joy of that accomplishment, knowing that my children, are mine, not only in this life but for eternity.

Since graduating I've gotten married and still live in Arizona. I will be married for 9 years in September. We currently live in Buckeye, AZ. (Don't feel bad if you've never heard of it.) I met Shane in Thatcher while attending EAC. We had a pretty quiet life until we welcomed our first baby 2 years after our wedding. He was a big boy weighing 9lbs 2oz. Remington is now almost 7 and ready for 1st grade. Over the years we added two more kids. Both girls. Natalia is 3, she is very sweet and helpful, but if I turn my back I better be prepared for some craziness. She just can't keep those hands to herself. My mom says she reminds her of someone.(who could that be, I don't know?) Our littlest girl is Marissa and she is 17 months old. She is so funny, she can make the funniest faces. She even told me the other day that she wanted to use the potty! She loves her siblings and gets so excited when she sees them. She is so sweet. So now you may think we're done but we are expecting our next bundle in January. I'm a little nervous but excited. We're just hoping it's a boy. We need to even things out.

Shane is working as project engineer for heavy civil construction company. Right now he is over a water treatment plant in Eloy. We are not sure how long he will have a job because the company hasn't won any new bids and they are running out of work.

I run the household and try and keep things sane. I graduated from massage school about 5 years ago, but haven't really done much with it since I had my last baby. I really want to go back to school and get a nursing degree. We'll see.

Well that's me in a nutshell, I hope to see some of you at the reunion. See you soon.

1. Where are you living right now? How long have you lived there?
Athens, Georgia. 2 years.
2. Are you married? Who did you marry?
I have been married to Holli Keel since March 2005. She’s originally from Overton, Nevada.
3. Do you have kids?
Our son Rhys (like ‘Reese’) was born August 7, 2008.
4. Do you have a college degree? What school did you attend?
I received my bachelor’s degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and a Master of Public Administration from the School of Public Affairs at Arizona State University. I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy at the University of Georgia, focusing mostly on public and nonprofit management, innovation and social enterprise.
5. What do you do for a living?
I am a graduate research associate and co-principal investigator of a research project. I also do consulting on the side for several individuals and organizations. Before we moved to Georgia I worked as the Policy and Research Analyst for the Arizona Association of Counties and worked in a variety of other government relations jobs with SRP, the City of Chandler and ASU.
6. How many places have you lived since graduation?
Tempe, AZ; Bassano del Grappa, Italy; Florence, Italy; La Spezia, Italy; Siena, Italy; Pistoia, Italy; Tempe, AZ; Tirana, Albania; Tempe, AZ; Scottsdale, AZ; Athens, GA…in that order…and we’ll probably be moving again shortly!
7. Briefly summarize any other major events that have happened in your life since graduation.
I served a church mission to Italy, studied abroad in Albania, graduated from ASU, got married to a wonderful woman, got my masters degree and worked in some really great jobs all in between. We had our son last August and I’m adjusting to life as a father. Stress much? ;)
8. What is your favorite memory of high school?
Hard to name a favorite, but I really loved my junior and senior years on Academic Decathlon. I loved doing all the plays in Drama as well.
9. What is your favorite song(s) from high school?
Pretty much anything by U2, Bush, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, stuff like that. I remember being particularly fond of a song called “In the Meantime” by Spacehog.
10. Who is the teacher you remember most from high school? Why?
I can’t pick just one: Burdick, Borg, Collins, Willis, Korzec and Risa Udall were all significantly influential to me. That doesn’t by any means signify that I was their favorite, but they were certainly some of mine.
11. Have you been able to keep in contact with any former classmates? Who?
Thankfully, yes, but probably too many to name. It’s been great seeing folks at graduations, wedding receptions and such. Advancing technology has made it quite easy to keep in touch.
12. If you could go back, what would you change about your high school years?
I wouldn’t go back and I wouldn’t change anything. It’s all been a part of who I am today. Perhaps I wouldn’t have dropped calculus? 
13. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?
In five years, I hope to be in a tenure-track job as a professor, preparing for my tenure and promotion to associate professor. In ten years, I either hope to be preparing for my promotion to full professor, or if academia doesn’t work out, to be an executive director of a charitable foundation or a think tank that focuses its research on philanthropy and public service.
14. What is one accomplishment since high school that you are proud of?
I served as the Director of Student Events for the 2004 Presidential Debate at ASU, and while it was probably the job of shortest tenure, I met and interacted with several notable people in politics and national media. Probably one of the more exciting things I’ve been a part of.
15. What is one piece of advice you would give a future graduate of SJHS?
Don’t be afraid to explore the unknown. If you want to do something and someone tells you “you can’t,” do everything in your power to show him or her you can. Staring adversity in the face is one thing, but punching it in the face and knocking it out is much more gratifying. One of the best bits of advice I’ve ever received was from one of my favorite teachers in high school, and it was simply this: “Get some thick skin.”
16. What school events do you remember liking or disliking?
I disliked Yearbook immensely after Mary Platt retired. I’m not really shy about admitting that. She always put together such a wonderful book, and her replacement didn’t. I liked going to all of the sporting events and had fun at pep rallies and stuff like that. I was especially proud of our class for winning the class competitions during Homecoming so often, even if there was some trickery and tomfoolery involved (come on, it was high school! ;) ).
17. Do you make it back to St. Johns very often?
Unfortunately, no. I’ve been back four times over the past ten years. My parents both live in the Phoenix area now.
18. Do you have plans to attend the reunion? (We would like to see you if at all possible!)
I’m far away, but I’ll definitely try!
19. Anything else you would like to share?
Nope. I tend talk too much as it is!
20. Anything else you want to say to your former classmates?
I hope everyone is doing very well and is very happy enjoying life. It would be wonderful to see you all at the reunion!
21. Do you have a blog/web site or email address you would like to share in case anyone would like to get in contact with you?
We have a blog that we try to update (semi)regularly: http://theronquillos.wordpress.com

1. Where are you living right now? How long have you lived there?Phoenix, Arizona. I have lived in the Phoenix Metro area since graduation from SJHS. 2. Are you married? Who did you marry? Not married, and never will be. :-)
3. Do you have kids?See Answer to No. 2.
4. Do you have a college degree? What school did you attend? I have 2 Bachelors' Degrees from Arizona State University. I graduated in 2003.
5. What do you do for a living?I am a paralegal working for a Firm in Phoenix.
6. How many places have you lived since graduation? After graduation, I lived in Mesa; then moved around to different places in the Phoenix Metro area doing the "grand tour," of sorts, and am sure I will move again somewhere soon.
7. Briefly summarize any other major events that have happened in your life since graduation.None. Just graduating from ASU.8. What is your favorite memory of high school? All of the Speech and Debate tournaments and winning the All-Time Scoring Championship. Mock-Trial was great too. I indeed miss that a lot.
9. What is your favorite song(s) from high school? There were quite a few. Too many to name, for sure.
10. Who is the teacher you remember most from high school? Why?Hands-down winner is Andrea Borg. She is a phenominal person with a great spirit. A close second goes to Debbie Willis. She is another amazing person. If it were not for her, I would have not even gone to college, or even be where I am today. And third place is a tie of Dan Korzec and Marty Feess.
11. Have you been able to keep in contact with any former classmates? Who?Just three (3) of them -- Matt Hansen, John Ronquillo, and Amy Doubt Richardson.
12. If you could go back, what would you change about your high school years? There is not much I would change, really. It was a great time with a lot of great memories. If retroactive change were possible though, I would want another shot to get 3 State Championships in S&D: Duo-Acting (because I was on the shelf and we were clearly the best ever); Dramatic Interp. (a trial's closing argument IS great entertainment); and Policy Debate. :-)13. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?Honestly, there are times where I cannot myself in one week's time. Ha ha ha! Maybe in 5-10 years, I will finally be out of Arizona for good. I have definitely learned you cannot predict the future, and can only take things one day at a time. That is all anyone can do with anything.
14. What is one accomplishment since high school that you are proud of?If anything, graduating from ASU. But, these days, however, getting a Bachelors' Degree isn't all that. You have to do more.
15. What is one piece of advice you would give a future graduate of SJHS?I have three (3), actually: (1) Always work hard; (2) Image is NOT everything, so if you are so stuck on yourself, get over it because no one will be impressed; and (3) Never consider anyone a priority who only considers you an option.
16. What school events do you remember liking or disliking?Again, definitely Mock Trial and Speech and Debate.
17. Do you make it back to St.Johns very often? No. My parents moved to Snowflake a few years ago.
18. Do you have plans to attend the reunion? ( We would like to see you if at all possible!)As Class President, I am hoping every way possible to attend the Reunion. If I cannot or do not attend, then I hope everyone enjoys each other. Or maybe, perhaps, I will just "appear" out of nowhere. Time will tell. :-)
19. Anything else you would like to share? That is it.
20. Anything else you want to say to your former classmates?Thank you to the very few who have been close to me and true to me.
21. Do you have a blog/web site or email address you would like to share in case anyone would like to get in contact with you? (Optional. Please do not post phone numbers- sdtenney81@gmail.com
