* Steven Tenney *

1. Where are you living right now? How long have you lived there?Phoenix, Arizona. I have lived in the Phoenix Metro area since graduation from SJHS. 2. Are you married? Who did you marry?Not married, and never will be. :-)
3. Do you have kids?See Answer to No. 2.
4. Do you have a college degree? What school did you attend? I have 2 Bachelors' Degrees from Arizona State University. I graduated in 2003.
5. What do you do for a living?I am a paralegal working for a Firm in Phoenix.
6. How many places have you lived since graduation?After graduation, I lived in Mesa; then moved around to different places in the Phoenix Metro area doing the "grand tour," of sorts, and am sure I will move again somewhere soon.
7. Briefly summarize any other major events that have happened in your life since graduation.None. Just graduating from ASU.8. What is your favorite memory of high school?All of the Speech and Debate tournaments and winning the All-Time Scoring Championship. Mock-Trial was great too. I indeed miss that a lot.
9. What is your favorite song(s) from high school?There were quite a few. Too many to name, for sure.
10. Who is the teacher you remember most from high school? Why?Hands-down winner is Andrea Borg. She is a phenominal person with a great spirit. A close second goes to Debbie Willis. She is another amazing person. If it were not for her, I would have not even gone to college, or even be where I am today. And third place is a tie of Dan Korzec and Marty Feess.
11. Have you been able to keep in contact with any former classmates? Who?Just three (3) of them -- Matt Hansen, John Ronquillo, and Amy Doubt Richardson.
12. If you could go back, what would you change about your high school years?There is not much I would change, really. It was a great time with a lot of great memories. If retroactive change were possible though, I would want another shot to get 3 State Championships in S&D: Duo-Acting (because I was on the shelf and we were clearly the best ever); Dramatic Interp. (a trial's closing argument IS great entertainment); and Policy Debate. :-)13. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?Honestly, there are times where I cannot myself in one week's time. Ha ha ha! Maybe in 5-10 years, I will finally be out of Arizona for good. I have definitely learned you cannot predict the future, and can only take things one day at a time. That is all anyone can do with anything.
14. What is one accomplishment since high school that you are proud of?If anything, graduating from ASU. But, these days, however, getting a Bachelors' Degree isn't all that. You have to do more.
15. What is one piece of advice you would give a future graduate of SJHS?I have three (3), actually: (1) Always work hard; (2) Image is NOT everything, so if you are so stuck on yourself, get over it because no one will be impressed; and (3) Never consider anyone a priority who only considers you an option.
16. What school events do you remember liking or disliking?Again, definitely Mock Trial and Speech and Debate.
17. Do you make it back to St.Johns very often?No. My parents moved to Snowflake a few years ago.
18. Do you have plans to attend the reunion? ( We would like to see you if at all possible!)As Class President, I am hoping every way possible to attend the Reunion. If I cannot or do not attend, then I hope everyone enjoys each other. Or maybe, perhaps, I will just "appear" out of nowhere. Time will tell. :-)
19. Anything else you would like to share?That is it.
20. Anything else you want to say to your former classmates?Thank you to the very few who have been close to me and true to me.
21. Do you have a blog/web site or email address you would like to share in case anyone would like to get in contact with you? (Optional. Please do not post phone numbers- sdtenney81@gmail.com
